This book frustrated me so badly. It is the very picture of two guys who want each other but don't talk or get honest and so they just continue on with their emotional angst. Until a miraculous break-through happens. GAH, I'm so mad. I pre-ordered this book so long ago - maybe a nano-second after I saw it up for pre-order. Was waiting anxiously for it and I feel like I got a sparse, tepid story. And I like this author so much so it feels bad to say this. Josh and Tyler both seem sweet and thoughtful, but they make assumptions about each other and never actually talk until nearly the very end.EDIT: I have to amend my review here. For two reasons. 1) I keep thinking about these guys and you know a story has to be good when the characters won't leave your head. and 2) I just saw When the Bough Breaks and pre-ordered it. Read the blurb and I have to say...THAT is where I thought THIS book was going. Now things that bugged me about this book are making more sense and my original assessment was a bit too harsh. I can hardly wait for the next one. END EDIT.
This story does end in a cliffhanger, but it's not one about this couple (who have their HFN leaning toward HEA). It's a continuation of the plot involving a minor character, so it's not the kind of cliffhanger that will leave you shouting in your head, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" You'll be okay with this one. And yes. I will be pre-ordering 'When the Bough Breaks' as soon as I see it is available and I HOPE Chad gets a story that is as interesting and well developed as some of the prior 'mile high' books.

Excellent, just like the rest of this series... very addictive!
I think Tyler might be my favorite character yet. I love the whole idea of him having this secret - like he's sweet and shy, but he has a whole bigger (naughtier) side to him. Also, he cares for his mom, and for Brittney and Harper - I just loved him all around. Plus, I'd be oogling the hot firefighters coming into my book store too, esp. if they were buying my books!
And Josh's story... I couldn't believe that beginning! I wanted to smack that boyfriend, what an incredible jerk! He was another tenderhearted soul and deserved to find someone who could love him and cherish him for the amazing guy he is.
Really great characters and a clever, original plot. Aria Grace's stories are always a pleasure. I listened to the audiobook of When Thunder Rolls and the narrator, Douglas Dale, was new to me but I liked him. He really nailed it with the different voices, and came up with a great variety in the secondary characters' voices.
In hindsight, I love the ending... at the time I was incredibly glad I had the next book loaded up and ready to roll!
I was disappointed. I thought the scene with the "Daddy" would go somewhere sadistic and we would get a rescue and MC's would fall sooner. I wanted more love between the MC's. this series has been good but is now seeming rushed to be ended.
It was sweet, and short and hot as always..lol.. I'm happy Josh found his happy ending. I just love how I get pulled in this stories and I know its how the author tells it. Thank you Aria Grace for another great read!
Tyler is a fun loving "secret" author who likes to have a good time but is ready to settle down with the right guy. He wants Josh to be that guy. Josh sees Tyler as a play boy and doesn't want to become too attached and ends up putting his foot in his mouth. Thankfully a friend steps in and gets them to talk and Tyler gets what he truly wanted.
I really liked Josh in the last book but had my doubts about Matt so I was glad to see the back of him in this book.Tyler is much better for him.
Well, once they stopped assuming what the other wanted and started talking. This book ends in a cliffhanger but the story for Josh and Tyler is complete. Looking forward to Chad's story next.
Aria Grace writes the best MM romance novels. This one was slow and hard to get into initially. I thought there should have been more storyline with Josh and his cheating boyfriend. The energy or chemistry between Josh and Tyler seemed to be lacking. Just not enough indepth writing on these two subjects for me. However, I'm on to book 8.
I really love this series, but I felt that this book was a bit weak. Still a very good read, but the main story feels a bit thin, and is overshadowed by the side plot. I adore Josh, but Ty bothered me at times, and there were times when the story skipped forward leaving the reader out of the action. Ty and Josh had a lot of interactions that we were told about after the fact instead of being shown. It felt a little rushed to be honest. Regardless I still liked this story, Aria Grace is an excellent author and I am going to hush now and go get the next book.
